About Us

Hi, I am Joanna Mitchell, known as Jo. I am the director & owner of Your Care. I am a daughter, wife, mother to four outstanding daughters & a very proud grandmother to three glorious granddaughters.

I have many years of experience in the Health & Social care sector, from being part of the Palliative Care Community  Team for many years, Manager at a non-profit Crisis team & recently as the Registered Manager at a domiciliary care company in Canterbury.

I am passionate about people receiving a high-quality standard of care, person centred around their needs & not the needs of the company. It is important to me that every cared for person is treated with respect, dignity & as if they were a member of my own family.

I also believe that to succeed, you must invest in your team & be part of that team, I will be very hands on with the delivery of care. Every team member will not just complete the industry mandatory Induction training, but they will be trained in End of Life Care at one of Kents leading hospices. This will give them the tools to deliver an emphatic & professional standard of care.
